Lavjibhai Dungarbhai Daliya, also known as "Badshah" was born on July 20, 1970, in Senjaliya, sub-district of Palitana in Bhavnagar, Gujarat. His father's name is Dungarbhai Nanjibhai Daliya, and his mother'sname is Kankuben Dungarbhai Daliya. He is married to Kailashben Lavjibhai Daliya, and they have threechildren: Goral, Piyush, and Nirmit.
Career
Lavjibhai migrated to surat from his native village in 1984 and joined a diamond company as an ordinaryworker at the age of 13 to support his family economically. After working hard for five years, he started his owndiamond factory in 1988 with his hard-earned savings. He grew his business for the next six years, and in 1995, hedecided to enter the real estate sector.

Philanthropy
Lavjibhai is known for his philanthropic activities. He has donated to many charitable causes, suchas health education, social services, water services, public awareness campaigns, sanitation campaigns, anddisaster relief camps. He has also taken the initiative in the “Save girl child” campaign and donated two hundredcrores under the scheme named “Badshah Sukanya Bond Yojana” benefiting 10,000 families of girls born in theyear 2015-16. He has donated to “Vattsalyagram - Saint Rutumbhara” for supporting orphan girl children and alsodonated for the marriages of seven orphan girls at Nari Sanrakshan Gruh. To empower widows to be self-sufficient, he has donated a large number of sewing machines.
Recognition
Lavjibhai is more popular as a social worker than a businessman in Gujarat. He is known as“Badshah” for his whole-hearted social services and philanthropist nature. He has earned this title due to hisethical business practices and his commitment to giving a definite share of his earnings for social services. Today, he helps over 40 NGOs.
Badshah bond scheme of Rs 100 crore launched for 5000 Patidar daughters of Gujarat
Lavjibhai Badshah, in an effort to eliminate societal discrimination and inequality between daughters and sons, announced the launch of the Badshah Sukanya Bond Scheme worth Rs. 100 crore in the year of 2015. This announcement was made during the Beti Bachao Mahaladu Darshabdi Mahots celebration.
