Lavjibhai D. Daliya is reverentially known as “BADSHAH” for his whole-hearted social services and philanthropist nature. Having the courage to rise above ordinary life without education, no inheritance and no social legacy to fall back on, he has emerged as major real estate player of Gujarat. “Doing business with ethics and giving definite share of earnings for social services” has been the utmost moral belief of his life.

After migrating to Surat from his native village Senjaliya (Bhavnagar, Gujarat) in 1984, he joined as an ordinary worker in a diamond company at very early age of 13, to support his family economically. Working hard with dedication for the next five years, in 1988 he decided to start his own diamond factory from his hard earned savings. He focused and grew the business for next six years and in 1995, he thought of entering into the real estate sector.

Save Girls

He is a known philanthropist, engaged in many charitable activities such as health education, social services, water services, “save girls” drive, public awareness campaign, sanitation campaign, disaster relief camps. So, actually he is popular more as a social worker rather than being a businessman, in Gujarat.

He acts as “President” in K. D. Daliya Education and Medical Trust, Surat and Shreemati Kankuben Dungarbhai Daliya Charitable Trust, Surat.

He’ s taken initiative in the “Save girl child” – an awareness campaign, the motto of which is to save the girl child in India by ensuring their safety as well as to stop the crime against girl child especially female foeticide and gender inequality. He’s donated two-hundred crores under the scheme named “Badshah Sukanya Bond Yojana”. 10,000 families of the girls, who born in year 2015-16 were benefitted by this scheme. He’s donated to “Vattsalyagram – Saint Rutumbhara” for supporting the orphan girl children and also donated for the marriages of seven orphan girls at Nari Sanrakshan Gruh. Also, to empower the widows to be self-sufficient to survive at their own, he’s donated large number of sewing machines to them.

Social Services

He’s donated five crores rupees to Surat Municipal Corporation, Surat to increase the number of CCTVs for making the city more safe and secured. He’s given the grant of five crores rupees to support the families of martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the nation.

He’s donated for the construction of check dams for the promotion of “Save Water” campaign. He was main donor of “one lac plantation program in one hour” to promote the “Clean City, Green City” campaign at Surat. He’s also donated for the construction of R. O. plants at the schools managed by Surat Municipal Corporation, Surat.

He’s sponsored the Yoga player at an international competition to promote and to spread awareness about the Yoga practices in the society.

He’s also donated to several “Goshalas” within Gujarat for better care of cows.

He’s donated clothes worth forty lacs rupees to kids residing at aboriginal areas. To encourage the students in such areas, he’s distributed the educational kits as well at the time of admission ceremony. Also, he’s started “Matrushri Kankuba Daliya Medical Instrument Help Center” to help people for their health-related issues in Malegaon and Aahva of Dang district. He’s donated to run the medical check-up camps and to distribute the food packets and medicines to the needy people

He’s served the human-kind by donating for supplying the necessities at the times of flood, earthquake, droughts or other natural calamities.
